Add Using Seatbelts to the List of Things Mississippi is Worst At

Name a skill or measurable trait and, chances are, Mississippi residents clock in as the worst in the nation. Reading, math, open mindedness, race relations... You name it.

Well, now we can add Seatbelt Use to the list of things "Rebels" down in the Magnolia State fail miserably at - With residents of Good 'Ole Mississip using seat belts less than folks in any other state.

Transportation officials say Mississippi's safety belt use of just over 60% is pitiful, though in the residents' defense, there's really no need to buckle up if you've got nothing to live for.

Americans call Mississippians "Real-life crash-test dummies".
